295/75R22.5 Tires in place of 11R22.5 tires

Can a 295/75R22.5 be used in place of a 11R22.5? I would be changing both steer tires…both tires are LR-H.
If you change only the steer tires to the LP22.5 size, you will be lowering the front of the truck about a half inch. I can't imagine that this would have any negative affects.
