Question 97
Posted by Jay on June 11, 2005

I continue to hear people make a statement like “We get 7,000 miles a 32nd on regulars and 4,500 on steers”. Is there an average that one should be looking at, either for a type of operation or use?

Miles / 32 of rubber varies based on tire tread design, tread depth, load, inflation, vehicle, spped, and driver. There is no average miles/32 for a given tire.
