Q. do the anti-idling laws pertain to t he commercial transportion bussiness? i am a limo driver on the weekends and we run the limos to provide power for the t.v.’s, steroes, and video players, even when the vehicles are not mmoving. will that be against the law?
A. While there are no national laws against idling period. States and municipalities do have there own idling restrictions and in some cases they apply to the commercial transportation business. So, it depends on where you are located. I have attached a url for you to visit where you will fiind what restrictions apply for each state.
