Q. One of our employees was driving through the state of Nebraska. Diesel was $2.59. How can it be so much cheaper in Nebraska than in California? Our costs are higher because we are more environmentally correct?
A. Your costs are higher because of supply and demand, infrastructure and the supply of fuel itself. You are partly correct with your statement on the environment. Obviously, the higher the cost the less fuel you’re going to waste.
